Bill Munro, his son and three grandchildren will present a one hour concert of pipes and drums including demonstrations. The date is Sunday, March 10th at 2:00 and the location is Foothills Worship Center at 305 Jansen Ave. Johnstown, NY 12095. The concert is free and free will donations will be accepted and will go to the performers.

The bagpipes have been in my family for generations. My grandfather was a bagpiper in the highlands of Scotland before immigrating to America in the early 20th century. He played and taught the pipes from Coney Island to Canada, and at countless family parties. The sound of him playing the pipes in our backyard as a child is what inspired me to begin to play the instrument myself years later. I now have over 30 years of playing experience and look forward to every opportunity I have to share this tradition with my own children and grandchildren, some of whom also play. Playing for the public is another way for me to share this tradition.
